Germany’s Federal Minister becomes patron of UNITI expo
UNITI expo 2020 will celebrate its fourth edition on 26 – 28 May at the Landesmesse Stuttgart in Germany. The support from the political sphere underlines the importance that the German government attaches to UNITI expo as the leading trade fair for the retail petroleum and car wash industries.
As Federal Minister of Economics and Energy, Peter Altmaier is equally committed to global climate protection and a secure energy supply. UNITI expo, as the world’s leading technology fair for the retail petroleum sector, offers a comprehensive outlook on the future of the industry. This includes the transformation of the petrol station into an all-round mobility supplier, the digitalization of the sector and the use of modern, sustainable fuels. A dedicated themed pavilion for Alternative fuels will showcase the present and future sources of energy for the transport sector – from biofuels to electro-mobility, from hydrogen to synthetic fuels, a promising source known as e-fuels. The conference program will also take a look into the future with presentations on global trends, digitisation and sustainability.
“We are very pleased to have won over Economics Minister Peter Altmaier as patron for our trade fair. The support is of great importance, especially when looking at the challenge of the energy transition and path towards establishing a climate and environmentally friendly mobility system,” says Elmar Kühn, managing director of UNITI-Kraftstoff GmbH, organizer of the trade fair.
UNITI expo is the leading European trade fair for the retail petroleum and car wash industries. With its compact three-day format, the biennial trade show is tailored to the needs of its target audience. The exhibition space is divided into four themed areas: Technology, payment & logistics; Car wash & car care; Oil companies & fuel retailers; and Shop & convenience. In 2018, the third edition of UNITI expo gathered 467 exhibitors and 17,000 attendees from 120 countries on an exhibition area of 40,000 m². UNITI expo is organized by UNITI-Kraftstoff GmbH in cooperation with com-a-tec GmbH and WDM management consultancy.
